The present investigation Efficacy of plant growth retardants on growth, flowering, yield and shelf life dahlia (Dahlia variabilis L.) cv. Shubhra was conducted in Research Field, Department Horticulture, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture, Technology Sciences, Prayagraj, during winter season (2022-23). experiment laid out Randomized block design (RBD). There are 9th treatment combination Cycocel (1000,1500, 2000 ppm), Malic Hydrazide (1000,2000,3000 Paclobutrazol (50,100,150 ppm). T6 malic hydrazide (3000 ppm) better performance compared to others treatments parameters like, height (70.71 cm), number leaves plant-1(119.43), branches plant-1(7.58), stem diameter (2.36 average length (71.29 days taken for first flower bud initiation (64.96), complete opening (7.32), plant-1(17.42), diameter(16.07 weight (62.35 g), peduncle length(16.19 plot-1 (156.81), ha-1 (65.18 ton.) (14.37 days).
